As you know well, EU has a plan to adopt REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical), which forces manufacturer and importer to verify the risk of chemical material or its product and makes its registration, evaluation and authorization compulsory, in June, 2007 in order to protect human’s health and environment. Moreover, USA, Japan and China have plans to adopt similar chemical management system.

Therefore, the Ministry of Environment that has supervised chemical launched and has operated REACH Task Force Team in order to prepare and promote the systematic response strategies by grasping the problem caused by the execution of REACH, preparing the method to assist industry and constructing related infra. As a part of the project, we have run the website.

The website will be used for various purposes including exchange and share of information by providing the general information concerned to REACH and customized service consisting of Q&A, running Cyber Help Desk and organizing the industrial community according to the type of business.

We need your participation and encouragement in order to use the website as the place to provide and share the REACH-concerned information and as the means to cope with REACH effectively for industry. We will continue to improve any insufficiencies or inconveniences.
